Outpatient Nephrology Services
Renasolve is not a telehealth company, but rather an organization that provides the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient nephrology services. We strive to work closely with the hospital administration to identity community needs that are aligned with long-term strategic goals.
Although many rural communities have outpatient dialysis units for individuals already on dialysis, patients with chronic kidney disease typically have to drive long distances to specialty clinics in cities. Many patients are unable or unwilling to do so for a variety of reasons.
Lack of accessible and timely outpatient nephrology clinic services in rural communities has significant adverse effects on patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD):
- Faster progression from CKD to requiring dialysis
- Higher risk of “crashing” into dialysis through the emergency department, which is associated with worse outcomes on dialysis
- Lower incidence of home dialysis utilization and kidney transplantation
- Higher overall cost of care with increased morbidity and mortality
Outpatient Nephrology Services that we offer:
- Outpatient nephrology clinics for management of chronic kidney disease, fluid & electrolyte issues, transplant patients, etc.
- Chronic management of End Stage Renal Disease patients on in-center and home dialysis therapies
- Full-time or part-time options for outpatient clinic are available:
- Renasolve nephrologist who lives in the community and provides full outpatient clinic and dialysis coverage
- Nephrologist travels to the area 1-2 weeks a month to provide outpatient services
- Medical directorships for outpatient dialysis units
- Joint venture opportunities for new outpatient dialysis units based on the hospital’s and the community’s needs
Note: Although Renasolve offers inpatient clinical coverage via telehealth, all outpatient clinic and dialysis services are done in-person
